I hate having to do the "look, they're normal just like us" post, but sometimes you have to do that when American propaganda tries to convince everyone Iranians are "animals".
Sure the contraption that got us to the moon was cool but have you seen
I'm thrilled for the traction Abigail's video is getting. It'd be even more thrilling if folks checked out the fine trans journalists and academics who have been working tirelessly in the UK to get this info out for years. This message isn't new, it's been ignored.

We find the "boiling frog" equivalent of AI use. Using large-scale RCTs, we provide *casual* evidence that AI assistance reduces persistence and hurts independent performance.
And these effects emerge after just 10–15 minutes of AI use!

On the left: A photo of Alberta's premier Danielle Smith grimacing. On the right: text that reads “Albertans are driving their government crazy by following new laws too much. Turns out, nothing is quite as irritating as enthusiastically and maliciously embracing legislation.”
When Alberta ordered schools to remove books with “explicit sexual content” from their libraries this past summer, educators responded in kind, flagging over 200 titles. Premier Danielle Smith later declared this a form of “vicious compliance.” thewalrus.ca/malicious-compli...

losing my mind watching people genuinely complain that there wasn’t enough ‘variety’ in their awards show because Expedition 33 - a game that is exceptional in almost every way - won several awards for being exceptional in almost every way
