Yep.

I ran a mail node and a BBS on a Tandy 3000 for several years.

Was just reminiscing about FOSSIL drivers with another user a few days ago.

Good memories.

We called systems like those "war boards" - typically BBSes that featured forums where users traded insults and banter. Pirated software too, but that was usually hidden from the average user.

I was a sysop of several back in the day.

Since I started ripping out wall to wall carpeting and the associated tack strips, there has been a lot of noise, vacuuming and general chaos, so the cats have been perching and hiding - but today, The Pooks needed some quality cuddles so she popped into the bed for some snuggles.

Brian May being an outstanding example for one.

She was also the only cat among the three that enjoyed being carried around for any length of time. The others were like, put me down immediately sir - but Taco was more like "hey, this is neat - I'm moving but not expending calories - continue with the tour, servant"

My one kitty adored getting rides in my mom's wheelchair - she would hop in when it was empty and yell until someone (usually me) would push her around the house so she could take a tour of her domain. 😸
