It always stuck with me, because it's actually true that we have so much alien media with them being superior and scarily advanced in their biology but barely concepts where it's the other way around despite our biology being pretty mindblowing ourselves 😂

thats so crazy!! I never really had a concept of how fast the recovery can go, because I never really had a big surgery before. But it def reminds me of a post i read years ago on tumblr claiming that aliens would probably more scared of us than vice versa the way we recover so quickly

the only things i cant really do yet is showering and/or doing anything that requires me to lift my arms over my head - i can also only sleep on my back for the time being. So I might move a bit more slow and careful, but otherwise?

the fact that i had the surgery on monday and now i'm at home again since thursday being able to take care of myself for the most part is kinda mind blowing to me.
