The 70-Year Paper Trail on America’s Oil Anxiety In September 1956, an AP analyst asked whether the U.S. could survive a Middle East oil crisis. Nearly 70 years later, the question hasn’t changed much — only the numbers have.

I felt that way too, but as I have dove into news archives and creating scratcpost.news, seeing all we’ve been through and overcome in our history makes me feel confident that we’ll prevail. Bruised and broken, for sure.

If calories don’t matter and anyone is looking for an alternative idea, I highly recommend Philadelphia’s cheesecake filling.

It’s great by itself. It’s great with yogurt (especially Chobani Flips’ French toast). It’s great with anything.

Ten stars. Highly recommend.

He was fine, but my uncle told her it was getting too hard to defend Trump. Especially when he’s killing his own people. So he just has been staying off social altogether.

Was pretty shocked to hear that.

I just hate that it took people dying (well, this way — it’s not new) to change his mind.

My uncle hadn’t been on facebook in like a month. None of his usual sht talking.

My cousin, brother and I often went at it with him and the fights weren’t civil.

My mom reached out to my aunt (not a trump fan either) and asked if he was okay because she hadn’t seen him.

My mom was having a convo earlier with someone about my uncle. She hates Trump and for some reason, my uncle, who lives on the border in Texas, loves him.

My cousin and I have gotten into some nasty fights with him. But he’s my mom’s older brother and they have been able to be civil.

Well…

Hm. I wonder if we can be strategic about this……

There’s an app called Lettre that I know is digital, but if you have an Apple Pencil or stylus you can write to penpals. It sends letters at the same speed as mail. I’ve had a few people I wrote back and forth with. I wish it was more popular.

"Don't worry. Boys are hard to find." Part 1 o2 Trump/Epstein and Associated Criminal Enterprises: Victim Interviews: SR

As tensions continue to rise because of Donald Trump, truths that can explain why he’s wiling to put America in war are surfacing.

If you haven’t, read this story about Iraq war veteran—Sascha Riley. I say that with a huge trigger warning for child sex trafficking.

It’s horrific.

Unfortunately it will feel slow moving but we need to keep doing what we’ve done for the last year. But hopefully congress will grow a spine and do their jobs/take back their power. Until then:

• Slow the process
• Peaceful protests and civil disobedience
• Relentlessly contact representatives

If helpful, I’ve drafted a letter you can use to reach out to your lawmakers regarding the strike on Venezuela.

Feel free to use any or all of this, and you can send this letter to your representatives directly by texting SIGN PVPEZF to 50409.
