Quick screengrab of recording some close range lightning in northeastern IL last night! Been like WAY too long since the last thunderstorm here

One of my other good shots from 2024. It got pretty lit behind the cells on 2/27, about half an hour before the Gary, IN tornado would occur #wxsky

4/27 almost had a secondary tornado setup in IL/WI, just to get left with a fat funnel 😧
