Daemon primarch fulgrim, a horrific winged snake man covered in blood and sworn to the service of slaanesh, the god of excess

Ushoran, Mortarch of Delusion. A brave and honourable king (horrific towering mutant deranged vampire king) covered in all the fineries of the realm (gore and rags)

A Lord kakophonist of the emperors children playing a guitar shaped noise weapon.

Three crypt flayers of the flesh eater courts, saintly angels (horrible mutant bat men) crested with halos (viscera) and wings aflutter

i think what i paint is cool

kinda horrific at times but still cool

happy trans day of visibility

shits fucking miserable for us trans folk so seein ppl in this hobby saying supportive things does genuinely brighten up my day

just don't let visibility and saying nice things be all u do, help a trans person out if you can and stand up (and keep standing up) for us

Daemon primarch Fulgrim. A towering serpent man in silver armour covered in blood and self inflicted gore, following along a trail of blood in a bloody factory. Barbed wire coveres his body; coiling around his bare arms and wings, puncturing along the slaanesh symbol scored into his abdomen and forcing his face into a permanent smile. He looks horribly proud of himself.

finished my industrial body horror take on the primarch of the third legion, Fulgrim.

this was a genuine test of my abilities as a painter and this really pushed me to go further than i thought i could.

late night update

hes basically all painted barring his base
gonna work on that before i take more pics

any1 got any ideas for bases for emperors children?

also, any tips for good miniature picture taking?
i really want the images of him to look good; i know i'm not the greatest at taking photos

Fulgrim’s lower serpentine half, more eel than snake with membranous webbing along the scaly body. There is also ritual scarification on the model, with a slaanesh symbol with an eyeball looking out of a patch of exposed muscle and skin

fulgrim update! finally!

2 or 3 days of progress has had me finally painting him again

so much progress has been made on the lower half yet there’s still bits to go before i feel ready to attach the two halves together

and there’s still the base to go as well :3

is there a reason purple washes tend to dry shinier than other washes? i dunno if this an actual thing but its something i've noticed with mine

not complaining either its really helped with fixing fulgrim's lower half but i genuinely found it weird

ill give that a go thanks 👍

those are the main things so far

i think respraying it and starting again with a different base colour might help but that’s like the last resort option

the colour choice for the membrane-y bits on the tail for one, though I will admit they are nowhere near done yet

I think also that the whole underbelly being the pale skin isn’t working at this point

also the tone of the lower half just doesn’t gel yet with the rest of the complete model for now

here’s how he’s looking so far, and how he’s looked for more than a week now, with little progress besides the base colours and work on the underbelly

i’ve completely stalled out, im not sure this is working and any suggestions would be welcome

A 30k world eaters predator tank with a grav cannon. Its right side has been totaled, the lascannon is bent, the front spikes buckled and shorn, the smoke stack bent out of position and the paint has been scraped clean in places. It looks like it was either rammed or charged
