getting excited to watch the timberwolves
i wish someone would hit me over the head with a big cartoon hammer and put me to sleep until 20 minutes before the wolves tip game 1
fun stuff!! great way to spend my finite time on this planet
i think i’m done with collegiate athletics for a while
lol same. i bought one of those Brick devices to physically stop me from using my cursed phone. i forgot where the Brick is.
had so many goosebumps in the first half. far fewer now.
gonna take a break from thinking about the timberwolves or the news so that i can have an absolutely miserable day of work today.
this rules, david! i cant wait to get my mittened hands on one of these bad boys.
i’m in agreement with aunt fancy here, but the bottom line is that i will smash the “buy” button for a kingfield version of this jacket regardless of the final design
at stump party. no sign of rudy gobert
is wearing a treebeard shirt to stump party cool or insensitive
ian, i am planning to stump for the first time this weekend and am bringing a few fellow first-time stumpers. i hope this is ok! we are all very excited.
No ICE in Minnesota.
Bring our neighbors back.
Close the camps.
Reparations for our communities.
Abolish ICE.
I wish I had the answer for why are we doing it,” Star says. “It’s an act of service. I don’t know. And it’s—so you can’t save everybody, right? And you maybe can’t even save anybody. Like maybe all we do is frustrate. You know, give someone one more day with their daughter or their dad. But if you lost your dad, or you lost your daughter, you would give anything to have one more day with them. And that’s what we can do.”
This article really hits home about why we all keep on going out there each day.

sure nice to get those goosebumps everytime sometimes
such was the beauty of yesterday's internet! less fun, but i remember logging on to diablo the night of 9/11 and seeing people talk about it in the chats and that's when my child's brain thought "woah, if the diablo boys are talking about 9/11 it must be a pretty big deal."
the last time i had fun online was in 2001 playing diablo ii
this is the only thing i’ve seen that i would buy
i’m glad the niners didn’t win the super bowl this season. the merch sucks. they’ll win it again when the merch is good.
for a split second i thought this said ayo plays dungeons and dragons on gameday
This cannot be reformed.
haunting prose, david
you have no idea what the people want, old man
one of the most salient bits of wisdom i heard from organizers in chicago was something alone the lines of, “there are people in our group who i cannot stand. and that is ok.”
was watching fucking vanderpump rules the other night and they were driving around in black SUVs. found myself trying to see if the driver was wearing a gaiter before I remembered it’s a dumbass tv show
and he sure did! admittedly, the whole interview isn’t *quite* as vomit-inducing but i cant say he makes a great case that he’s anything other than a good looking white guy whose job it is to say “i love mpls.” you could have a pumpkin in the mayor’s office and it’d be just as effective as jacob.
i realize i’m cherry picking from the frey/nyt interview but this part made me ralph. jacob’s biggest fault? simply being too right too early. they call it the “curse of the big brained mayor.”
hey drew! i listened to the album while sitting at home in minneapolis. also read your wonderful quietus essay. wanted you to know how affecting the music is, and how your desire to create something beautiful emanates outward. it’s art as freedom, as connection, as humanity. can’t thank you enough.
twin cities resource disbursement question: we have a bunch of wet cat food specifically for diabetic cats, as well as some other diabetic cat-related supplies, and i would love to get these to a family who could use them. are there any known needs for this kind of stuff? or any groups to donate to?
