That was certainly a sound this thing could make

Sadly it doesn't, at least, it doesn't list the credits in the section for the Gnosis, and the credits in the back of the book are only for the book's composition itself, not the people who worked on the game
Party destroyed by Tiamat
GAME OVER
oh fuck. this is actually the first game over I've hit what the fuck
A humanoid gnosis
Humanoid gnosis gathering together
gathering REALLY close
they are kinda shunting like in Society
is that good

James Twin Peaks
Dylan 90210
james twin peaks and dylan 90210 using their psionic forehead powers to explode you
The Acute Neurosis Treatment Facility.
A place you know well.
Bunnie: I lost.
Bunnie, having rotated and revealing a horrifying face on their back: "I'm Bunnie. You're the first people to come into this room."
what the fuck
It's SO funny especially because even in her flashbacks she's more often working or tinkering with kosmos and sometimes Kevin appears and is like 'hey, hi. i'm kevin'
KOS-MOS, touching her chest
Her abs revealed to be panels that reveal a fleshy under color and a beam emitter
Firing the beam
Gnosis being destroyed en masse
i'm glad her abs can open up to reveal a beam emitter i knew about a lot of her weapons but this one caught me off guard lol
Shion, her arms wrapped around KOS-MOS from behind
Completely different aside but saw this official art of Shion and KOS-MOS when I was looking something up on the wiki and I like it and feel compelled to share it
Here's the horrible wiggling embryo friend. I felt the need to make this one into a gif due to well. needing to share the uncomfortable wiggling. I think the transparent skin on the head with like, muscle flesh and eyes underneath is a fun touch
Frontal view of the Kobold
Side view of the Kobold
Cerberus
Sky fish
A few others that don't have art that I'm seeing but, the Kobold is neat because it's a weird little guy with a long flat snakey head and two cleavers, the Cerberus with its weird head, and the Sky Fish, named after the best cryptid
Larva Doll in game

Basilisk in-game
Basilisk illustration
The Larva Doll is a fun one, first undead enemy I've run into. Damage heals it, healing hurts it. Also it's one of the ones with art in the setting book I have! Then we also have the Basilisk, which has other variations as well in the game, but it's a buggy friend.
Fairy front view
Fairy rear view
Gnosis check in! While the game doesn't have a full bestiary it does have a Gnosis database so time to post ones I've seen. It seems like some don't get registered which is weird? Fairy might be my fav, it's simple but cute. The wings being attached to arms that end in eyeballs is so cool
That voice... that's...
That's Daddy...!
MOMO I know we were all trying to convince you that your creator wasn't 'a lunatic' but I will say, the fact we are seeing memories of him quoting Revelations atop a tower in the middle of a destroyed city might explain why people maybe thought of him that way
My only actual annoyance is that EP is sort of used twice. Kind of. I mean, in menus, Skill, Tech, and Ether points are abbreviated S Pts, T Pts, and E Pts, but also there's EP, which... I know is supposed to be Ether Power, but my brain still reads it as Ether Points when it's next to Hit Points
I worry some might read this as irony on my part or something but no I just think it's fun when RPGs have fiddly menus to mess around in. At least when I understand them. The ones in Xenosaga are fairly straightforward overall, so it's fun getting into a bunch of battles and spending SP/EP/TP
The thing about Xenosaga Episode 1 is not only am I enjoying the story but I do love when a game decides to have you get 3 sets of points for character progression separate from your normal experience points
"Thanks, I'll pass."
"I don't share your perverse taste in hobbies."
Mysterious white haired commander laughing like a weirdo
Yeah right, you gutless bastard.
Technically way past this because I fell into just playing a bit instead of posting screencaps but update on the bad vibes boys
The PSP was such a funny console because while people make fun of the PS3 for having no games it's amusing how many non-games you could end up with on the PSP just because of the whole initial push for it as a multi media thing....
Pretty sure I had a UMD with a bunch of music videos on it too? Blood Red Summer by Coheed and Cambria still remains one of the few songs I've heard by them bc of that, there was also Three Days Grace on there. Omarion and Crossfade too. Can't remember the others without looking it up
Now I'm trying to remember my collection of UMD movies on PSP... I remember having The Crow, MirrorMask, Lords of Dogtown, Alien vs Predator, and Van Helsing... I probably had others. I don't remember much about most of the movies I watched on it other than The Crow lmao
Well okay I guess I do know why it's because I watched The Crow on UMD in 2005 and was like 'this is the coolest movie ever' and while maybe it's not my favorite movie ever now it's still one I really really love lol
Idk why i've done this with several actors from The Crow but it had been my initial specific reference point for like 21 years now for Michael Wincott, Tony Todd, Laurence Mason, and David Patrick Kelly.
Me when I see that guy from The Crow: "Hey, it's that guy from The Crow!"
had to dig this up to pin it because it truly is an evergreen feeling....
coz i have trouble getting out of bed in the morning! i dont want to go out! i dont want to get a proper job! im scared of other people! adults piss me off! and im stupid! but i still want everyone to fawn over me!!!!
