Torso close up
Frontal view
Head side profile
anyway I love this friend a lot... just a funny really detailed wiggly friend with lots of clothes. I really love the head too, big eye below a goblin shark-esque head....
Mummyhead parts, which take the form of a giant frontal shield, with additional binders on the sides of the body
Cyclops form, in which larger arms are mounted onto the back, and the small gangly arms plug into them. Also a funny bug on the chest as armor
Clod, which is a giant upper body set of shoulder parts, as well as very tall, long legs
Much like the woundwort I love how it's a friend of many shapes while having an interesting base shape as well, but also like
it can have The Big Apron, Too Much Creatine, and Somehow Even More Leg.....
Raptor concept art
i was actually looking at the book to look at art of the raptor though.... what a funny shaped friend...
Ardjet concept art
I was looking at my ZOE book and I got to this page and I saw the pose and felt a foul compulsion to make the above image....
Before 2174 ends Anybody wanna admit they got a crush on me? Badly edited in Ardjet
THOUGH i will say getting to observe one of these up close for the first time, it's fun looking at them. The sharp angle on their antennae is neat, and while a bite would be scary, seeing it do little chewing motions is kinda cute when my flesh isn't available for it to bite
Frustrating night though!!! First the middle legs on my bed bent at some point recently (at least that's an easy, if not annoying, fix), and now a big ant scares the hell out of me while I am recovering from the bad sleep.... universe be nice to me the rest of the day....
maybe the first time I've seen them upstairs in my room, probably wandered in either through the maintenance hatch (I have it taped up but maybe I need to re-seal it...) or maybe through the AC unit? idk, but it approached from the left so I'm leaning maintenance hatch
carpenter ant, captured in pill bottle
cw: bug
the big bug crawled on my arm and scared me.... not seeing any other carpenter ants but probably a scout, always happens at least once every spring....
Anyway now it's uh, 2:22am. yesterday was schrodinger's saturday
Blurred Name 09/28/2017 Dylan:Sorry guys I just got off a 96 hour shift let's play gundam
this did remind me of one of my favorite old posts about me in one of my chats, which is over 9 years old now....
SOMETIMES naps were important. if I worked a 16 hour shift that was like, 12 hours + 2 hours of waiting + 4 night hours, the 2 hour nap I was afforded kept me alive!!!
but I don't think I could do that anymore lol. I doubt I could sustain the long hours I used to do at the old job now in general
the problem is sometimes you are just exhausted and wanna pass out but!!! but.
ever since my latter 20s till today, I just cannot nap anymore without it making me feel so much worse....
all naps are bad naps....
i'm alive now
That's the Pigsy from Dunbine!

But the other day, he lost a tool called a Fish Detector or something. He was so depressed. Well, I'm thankful though, since I won't have to hear his fishing stories

The Tower of Babel, Hans Bol, second half of 16th century
The sky in Hans Bol's The Tower of Babel is one of my big favorites. I feel like Bruegel's Tower paintings from a similar time frame are more popular, and they are really good! But Bol's has always been my favorite...
Moonlit Seascape with Shipwreck, Aivasovsky Ivan Constantinovich, 1863
Das Kolosseum in einer Mondnacht. Franz Ludwig Catel, Between 1826-1839
Měsíc nad Haldensee, Adolf Chwala, don't have the date on this one...
Ruin by the Sea, Arnold Bocklin, 1880
I save a lot of paintings where I end up fixating more on the sky than other parts of them....
that being said i think it'd be fun to make a dessert that at least looks like devil's tooth
Devil's Tooth fungus
Devil's Tooth fungus
