I decided to start a Substack on everyday people doing good in the world and as I write up my first interview I'm so grateful for this quiet act of self-care.

I'm not sure what to say to any of it, so here's a picture of my dog Hope, who we adopted in 2020 during what we thought was the All Is Lost moment in this story but turned out to just be world-building for 2025.

Everything is so dark and heavy but I just had my last infusion after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021. I won’t miss the infusion center, but I’m grateful for the kind nurses who took such good care of me. Onward. 🩵

Absolutely gutted Tahlequah the orca lost her calf...again and is carrying her around refusing to let go. Nature is a beast.
