Many say it's the most colorful hill in Iceland... Brennisteinsalda is in the heart of the Highlands and is easily accessible by hiking, so why deprive yourself? Beware, there are hot, hot zones in this area, so don't stray from the marked path.
Like a lighthouse on top of the Maïdo, the sun sets and lights up the Mafate cirque with its last rays 🌄. Seen from Salazie, the clouds put on a show! ☁️✨
Astonishing! Some of the Puys Ramond craters on La Réunion are home to their own ecosystems. 🌱 Plants have evolved directly in the chimneys of these craters! It's details like these that make hiking here truly surprising. 👣✨
Hats off to you! At the Étang-Salé energy vortex in La Réunion, you'll notice that some people have a real talent for defying the balance...
🌟 A great start to the week with a memorable hike in the Icelandic Highlands! 🏔️🥾 7 to 8 hours of walking... But what fun! ✨

On this shoot, we arrived very early, at around 6am, to avoid the site being overcrowded. The morning light, mixed with the sea spray, created a magnificent atmosphere.

I don't know if you remember the scene in the first Lord of the Rings film, where the Fellowship is looking for the door to Moria, the realm of the Dwarves, but this structure in the north-east of Iceland, in my opinion, must also be hiding or opening something! So what do you think?
Please note that this area does not appear on our map, but it still deserved a little focus. This landscape is visible from the F229. It can only be admired by drone, which makes it difficult for the public to access. For your eyes only.
Our guide, ‘Charly explores Iceland’, is packed with information to help you plan your ideal tour. Download the demo version and discover a selection of freely accessible sites! 🌋✨
Otherwise, happy festive season of course, and in moderation.

Mount Keilir seen from different angles. Take my advice: don't leave the Reykjanes peninsula, close to the airport, too quickly, and explore the colourful area of Sogin.

Incredible! Lake Engjahver is almost boiling over, close to the current eruption. It's a very active geothermal zone. Obviously, swimming is not recommended, unless you were a lobster in a previous life. This spot is a must-see, and it's in the ‘Charly explores Iceland’ guidebook, out this week.
we have zosterops here too (Reunion Island)
