The Liverpool attack wasn’t terrorism. But the far-right didn’t wait for facts – they had a script ready.
This piece by The Bear cuts through the noise to show how outrage is manufactured.

Putin comes against Le Pen ruling. Authoritarians hates any possibility of legal restraint on their leadership. Trump will doubtless do the same. Journalists do not have to follow this framing. There is zero reason for them to start a report by questioning whether the ruling is democratic.
It’s an interesting article. There isn’t a magic bullet or easy answer to this issue.
Spring statement. Fierce atmosphere in the Commons. Reeves ploughs on regardless, seemingly barely noticing the noise around her.
That’ll appear in some bonkers conspiracy theory soon enough :)
Some thoughts on the European response to the chaos now emanating from the White House - on Ukraine and more broadly, based on chats with senior European policymakers directly or indirectly involved in formulating the bloc's response 1/

That’s awesome, thank you :)
We’re having a go at the Coke recipe tomorrow, fingers crossed :)
And we’re done! 200 trees planted at Astrea Woodfields. A sapling absorbs approx 10kg of CO2 per year which makes 2 metric tonnes absorbed per year!
Brilliant, well worth a Google :)
Brilliant film, it’s a lot more acceptable than Love Actually :)
Love Actually is bloody awful. I watched it once years ago and I’m still irritated by how bad it was.
A great film if you haven’t seen it :)
Absolutely
I teach this resource by @johnfocook.bsky.social in all my classes. Highly recommended, as it applies to many topics in addition to climate change. ⬇️
