AI may soon be smarter than us.

But it won’t be wiser.

Ethics aren’t computed—they’re forged by survival. Which means humans may end up as the conscience for systems that never had to evolve one.

I’m interested in how consciousness explains what the mind has already done—
how meaning, intention, and story often arrive after the machinery has moved.
