just had the nauseating thought that Erika Kirk will be America’s first female president
It was just an opinion
Truly Crazy! TMZ should’ve been outlawed from the jump. The harassment they normalised is criminal
Like these were the 40 biggest songs globally of 2025. Multiple of these came out in 2023-2024. One of them is from the 90s. That would’ve been unheard of a decade or.2 ago
I forgot espresso. I sound like Andre. I normally don’t talk about music on here but oh well jdjdjdjd
like I’d say the only true hits of this decade have been
Flowers
Die with a smile
Apt
Birds of a feather
Blinding lights
Say so
Ordinary (for some reason)
Maybe unholy
levitating
Stay
A bar song
As it was
that’s about it? and we’re six years in
I used to think the worst part of streaming killing the popstar era was the loss of performances and 4-5 singles with fledge out music video roll outs but it’s by far the fact that there isn’t true wide reaching hits anymore. like there are songs from 2023 still in the top 20 of billboard
whereas with Taylor Swift, if you’re not a swiftie, you can literally ignore her music. you can’t ignore *her* but you never have to hear her
Like my father despises Madonna. Always has. But he could tell me atleast 30 of her songs purely because of how famous and widely reaching her music was from the 80s-00s. And that’s just because it was played on tv, the radio, in stores, in bars, clubs, restaurants, out of other people’s cars.
You’ll have people be like “the locals know mayhem!” no they don’t I can promise you they don’t. they know die with a smile. and even that isn’t as widely known as it would’ve been even 2 decades ago when the hit songs were determined by wide reach and a meteor like bomb on the charts
I really don’t know why Stans delude themselves into thinking the general public at large even cares about pop stars and their eras anymore. Streaming killed that almost entirely. MTV & VH1 don’t exist anymore, TRL was gone before I even turned 11. radio & print magazines are a dying media form
hey yall
