I think the suits told them M/M HEA would not fly in China, but I'm still sad and cross about it.
This is a horror.
Much of what people are saying was captured for me in this beautiful report from Rebecca Mead on what was then cutting edge dementia care. I still think about her writing, "when I have dementia, I hope..." a lot. www.newyorker.com/magazine/201...
"Fine. I'll take the dragon outside again tonight. Hmph."
And the trashing of MCU's own properties and plot lines and I really, really hated it. Asked to see the movie again by friends, I astonished them by walking out for the lest ten minutes.

We have ("we": our ancestors, a lot of vested interests, the British Empire etc) a governance/government culture in the UK which is bound up to some extent with being some kind of horrible arsehole. We select for it. We incentivise it. We punish the gentle and the unguarded by public shaming.
I'll think about this much too much today.
Also 'blot in ___'s copybook' has a cheesy little assonance to recommend it.
outside the recipe has corrupted it (that would be the incoherent Toronto Maple Leafs management preventing its stars from achieving historic greatness, and I'm sorry to be being so niche and North American but it's very early and my glitches won't work out without more tea).

Matcha ice cream....so good....(also red bean ice cream, but i was more accustomed to sweet bean things). I figure since bona fide Japanese people drink matcha lattes and offer matcha ice cream I should try to get over myself. Sen Rikyu spins in his grave well before I even got here.
