This infographic describes the Healthy Eating and Supportive Environments (HEAL) study protocol within the Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow’s Health (CanPath). The study collects new online data on diet and movement over a one-year period using multiple surveys. Participants report food, drinks, and activities from the past week and month, the past day (up to four times), and the past year. HEAL data are then linked with existing CanPath data, including social factors such as age and gender, health outcomes such as cancer incidence, and information on built, social, and food retail environments.
The HEAL study protocol is now published! 📃🥳🙌 This paper outlines the study’s design and long-term vision for enriching the CanPath platform with dietary and movement behaviour data 🎉
