Banning homeless camping is the stupidest policy response to addressing housing, mental health, employment, & substance needs. And then adding criminal attachment & fines??? Where is the common sense?

Data that actually illustrates what cities, counties and states are doing (and not doing) to address social problems are the least available data.

One big problem are costs related to EM. Start up fee, rental fee, monthly fee. Real alternatives to incarceration shouldn’t cost money and should help people develop skills, access treatment, education, housing, employment. These are real alternatives for both accountability and public safety.
