Lovely. Is there a way to hide annotations in Design Mode and show them in Dev Mode?

In my experience, people with no self-doubt are usually inept.

WordCraft Resources for writers: Books, videos, podcasts, courses and tools.

I recently started pulling together a list of books, videos, and tools for #writers

I'm aiming to update the list every Sunday morning and will soon add podcasts and substacks to the mix.

I have never spelled the word silhouette correctly first time. Never. Not even close enough for autocorrect to guess.

The characters in this scene have "stepped back in shock" so many times I think the room is now empty. #writing #editing

Trying something new over the holiday season for the youths who visit my Little Free Library.

I’m wrapping up some of my favorite MG and YA novels with little tags that hint at what’s inside.

Can’t wait to see how many presents we can give away this month. 🎁❤️

A big chunky book. The Dune Bible: an extraordinary artefact from Jodorowsky's epic Dune project, being the storyboard for the ‘greatest movie that was never made’.

If you're struggling with what to get me this Christmas, a "Dune Bible" is up for auction. It's a bit pricey, but I'm sure you could all chip in.

Adding the following clauses to my copyright text:

- Artificial intelligence was not used for the writing of this book or the creation of its cover.

- No part of this book may be used or reproduced to train artificial intelligence.

Doubt it'll stop any thieving bots, but feel free to add it too.

A rough sketch of mean looking alien. Small black eyes, slits for nostrils, thick neck and rounded shoulders. He has a braid with a blade fastened to the end and held in place by a metal plate on his chest.

A character sketch from book one. Jenta — a slightly unhinged Hunter with anger issues.

Same. I loved rediscovering his books when my kids were small. They loved his books.

Just wrote 4 four pages of alien history so that the three lines in the book referring to it make sense to ME. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Dune is a great example. What I got from the Reddit thread was making sure it's just there as an option and not necessary to follow the story, and should add an extra element of texture to the story. It's funny I've found that as I write the glossary, it sparks off ideas for the story itself.
