Great! And so fast! I'm currently learning Blender myself, so I'm really envious of your skills.

Thank you so much. It barely appeared in the episode, but I’m honored to see so many people bringing it to life. It makes being a designer worth it.

Imperial Army Transport (Part 2)

Thanks to some extra reference images from @izmojuki.com, I was able to improve my model of his Imperial transport from Star Wars Visions! Also made some fancier renders of it for fun too.

Last year at Star Wars Celebration Japan, I finally met Doug Chiang. I thanked him and told him how his book was what set me on my path to becoming a creator.

Inspired by Doug Chiang’s art in "The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels," my 22-year-old, inexperienced self created CG art for my website.
This was before the Special Editions, just as Ep I rumors began.
I used StrataStudio Pro and KPT Bryce on a PowerMac 7500/100.

Imperial Transport - Star Wars Visions

This unnamed heavy freighter created for an unpublished deleted scene from SW Visions: Lop & Ocho is probably the most obscure ship I've ever modeled!

I designed it to fit the canon; the rear containers are the same model as the AT-ACT’s, so you can derive the ship's scale from that. The underbelly design is shown in this image. For the landing gear, I used the Acclamator-class as a reference. Hope this helps your video!

Amazing! I’m so happy to see this. I’m impressed you recreated it so accurately using only publicly available art—truly wonderful work! This ship was originally meant to appear at the start of the episode, escorted by Gozanti-class cruisers, though it was eventually replaced by an ISD.

I visited Makuhari Messe for work last weekend. Seeing the cherry blossoms starting to bloom reminded me of last spring. A year really does go by in the blink of an eye.

Thanks! That weapon originally comes from the Purge Troopers in Jedi: Fallen Order.
For Visions, I intentionally brought in and selected elements from across Star Wars as a tribute and a thank-you to the many works that supported the series through years that were not easy, leading up to 2020.

Lately, I’ve also been reading Women Who Run With the Wolves.
Together with The Heroine’s Journey: Woman’s Quest for Wholeness, it feels like an important lens for understanding Star Wars after the sequel trilogy.

I bought The Art of Star Wars: The Acolyte and have been reading it this week.
It’s wonderful, especially the parts about how Leslye Headland developed the story in its early stages.
It’s such a shame there won’t be a Season 2.

Je suis allé à une projection en avant-première. Le film sort enfin au Japon. C’était tellement bien ! J’ai adoré, c’est totalement mon genre.
