New ALERTCalifornia cameras online: Nestled in the Scott Barr Mountains on the historic Collins Creek Baldy Lookout, the Collins Baldy 1 & 2 cameras were just brought online in partnership with U.S. Forest Service - Klamath National Forest.

We unfortunately weren't able to ID this California condor on the Henrietta Peak 2 camera. We combed the archive but the bird never showed the wing tag on the far side of it's body. Anybody have a guess on who this could be?

The Deer Horn 1 camera is definitely a black bear hotspot. We recently started this large bear on a sunset stroll northeast of Eureka.
We're convinced these cows north of Bodega Bay might have one of the best views in California. This capture is from the Lower Myers Grade 2 "patrol" camera, which spins 360 degrees every 2 minutes and takes 6 images each rotation.

Spotted male California condor Hasso on Henrietta Peak 2. This camera is set to "patrol mode," which means it is programmed to spin 360 degrees to take six images every two minutes. We stitched adjacent images together to show his full impressive 9-10 foot wingspan.
