Word of the day — wishing you all an anabatic rising.
Protestors will not automatically vote for democrats.
Please understand that we will vote for you because we believe in your message, your history of good works, and your plan to keep working to improve our living conditions.
Also — ranked choice voting, please. I know how incumbents hate this.
Why do they have to? Aren’t they grown ups?
If you want Minnesotans to vote for you, you need to be as fiercely committed to positive change and democracy as we are @dfl.org
Get corporate and foreign funding out of politics. Strengthen unions. Repair Native America and Black descendants of slavery.
Serve and follow — that’s the job.
So proud of us, Minnesota. Stay cold!
Not a serious thing!?!
People living outside without their housing stabilization support. It’s a cold winter, and it’s extremely serious.
Staff lost their jobs.

Still getting calls almost every day asking for help with housing stabilization.
The “repeal” was total. Where is the “replace”?
It’s a cold winter, and GRH is not a viable option for families with children.
@governorwalz.mn.gov
Yes true, but I’m still angry about Medicaid scams. We lost a robust housing program in Minnesota because the state failed to audit appropriately.
It’s cold in Minnesota, wind howling, and still no news about Housing Stabilization Services. We were told they would “repeal and replace.” People are literally dying for leases right now.

Unconscionable how she re-invents the “people-choose-to-be-homeless” argument.
What are their actual options for housing when they “choose” to seek it? Please do share because I know some people who would gladly choose to have housing.
Governor Walz defunded our housing program because other agencies committed fraud. No oversight.
Various stages of grief, mostly anger. Shelters overflowing, cold weather. Calls for help every day — so much need — we do as we can.
Now — Retribution against whistleblowers? Was it deliberate?
If a person can’t afford “affordable,” can we guarantee a voucher?
I don’t understand how access to reading is easier today. Are there new libraries in rural America? Bookmobiles are still needed and very much missing.
“Affordable” — housing, food, transportation, childcare, medical care, arts, athletics, vacations, gifts, hobbies, insurance, taxes.
Saving for retirement and emergencies.
Living with joy and comfort. Having dignified work to fit ones skills and talents.
Housing instability can be solved.
We can match people with available housing.
We can take stock of what is needed.
Some need supports. Some need vouchers.
Some needs are known. Some can be better understood.
Every other species on earth makes shelter a priority — maybe humans could too.

Job first then housing? Or housing first?
Need custody for housing, need housing for custody
Affordable is only affordable if you make this much, but not too much
The catch 22s of housing
She is offered a chance to live near one of the largest lakes in Minnesota in an income-based unit, and she bravely says yes to an unfamiliar town. Making community connections already. Lake life coming right up!
Electeds arguing for tit-for-tat gerrymandering are missing the point. They should know that ranked choice voting is the answer. @betoorourke.bsky.social @codewithbeto.dev @governor.ca.gov @gavinnewsom.bsky.social @repdelbene.bsky.social
So much Love at Minneapolis farmer’s market
Brave enough to leave an abusing loved one, move across the state to an unknown small town. Confident in her ability to make friends from strangers. Section 8 bolsters us, gives us strength and courage.
Ranked choice voting solves our current dilemmas.
Imagine an even playing field for multiple candidates. Gerrymandering loses its sting.
Negative campaigning is punished by the voters.
More candidates, more voters participating.
Incumbents lose their entitlement, their grip on the seats.
After years of homelessness, cooking his mother’s meatball recipe in his own kitchen. Love it.
Love when a client finds a place on her own. Tuesday move-in, coming right up!
