alyssa takes the bowl from him and look up at him. "will you also eat with me?"

giggles fall out of her lips when he grunts at her.

"are you actually ticklish, sy?" she peeks on what he is making from his side.

"oh wow, that looks appetizing!"

alyssa gets up from the couch, lazily walking towards sylus who's busy rummaging her fridge and begin to make something.

she smiles at the domestic view on her kitchen. feeling a little cheeky, she pokes his waist with her pointed finger.

"what are you making, hm?"

"ouch– sy!" she rubs the reddened spot on her forehead.

sylus moves away from the couch, causing her upper half to plopped down since she was leaning on him.

"where are you going– kitchen?"

"oh, me? i uhh.. skip dinner cause i ate too much this afternoon."

she senses his judging eyes and look up at him.

"whaaat? i'm not that hungry."

"but wouldn't that make me a bad host– since you're my guest here."

she hates to admit, but the touch of his fingers caressing her hair feels nice. it's almost lulled her to sleep, but the she remembers.

"sylus, have you eaten something after you woke up?"

"the pleasure is all mine." her smile didn’t leave her face as she replied.

alyssa blinks as if she's thinking about something, she then tilts her head slightly. "jeremiah, are you always this tall or did you grow from the last time we met?"

her head instantly falls back to his shoulder, and she snuggles closer.

"this movie better be good, or i'll end up sleeping on your arms."

seeing his cheeks tinted with red only make her smile wider.

"the flowers will only grow pretty when the hands that take care of it are beautiful."

she reached up to give him a head pat. "you're doing a great job!"

her gaze leaves the movie and lands on his eyes as he lifts up her chin. a slight frown appears on her face before she denies him.

"says who–i'm not afraid of anything in this world."

"there will be no nightmare as long as you're around. you'll kick the ghost's butt for me, right?"

she leans on his shoulder to get comfortable while the movie started to play.

"now that is sweeter than any nectar." she chuckles at his kind words.

"did become a florist also taught you how to be a sweet talker?"

she chuckles at his words, knowing that he's probably right.

"i woon't, i have a guest coming over. it'll be rude if i leave him alone and fall asleep."

reached out for the remote control, she begin to find a movie to watch.

"is horror alright?"

"hmm.. i was planning to go to sleep when you sent me a message."

she let go of his wrist and plopped herself onto the sofa, her hand pats the spot beside her. signaling him to sit with her.

"want to watch movie or something?"

"you're too dazzling–ugh. come on in."

she grabbed his wrist and pulled him inside her house, locking the door again before walking to the living room.

"it's too late to bicker with you, so you can do whatever you like in my house. yea?"

the sudden knock successfully surprised her, but then she read his message. a small smile appears on her face as she walks towards the door.

"i'm comiing, wait up." she unlocked the front door and greeted with a tall figure blocking the light.

📱: how about you drive your big motorbike down my street and i'll let the door open for you?

a single ding! from her phone made alyssa turn her head from the book she's reading. she glances at the clock before unlocking the phone, already guessing who's the sender is.

" 📱: it's almost my bedtime, sy. you just woke up? "
