Stumbled upon this, worth watching?

Will add i do think Madonna is meeting the current moment perfectly. The world is in a unfathomably dire state and we need escapist music more than ever.

Pop radio won’t pay it much attention mostly cuz of ageism and sexism but also the music itself is not radio friendly. And maybe thats on purpose an admission on Madonna’s part that she knows pop music today is more a cult fan experience and not a world domination event.

I Feel So Free is a pure club track and thats fine, but it’s not confessions to me. Maybe the whole point of the sequel is to turn it all into a club only experience. I’d imagine, and i know it’s inflammatory, even hurtful as a fan to admit but even with Sabrina carpenter on a song, this is for us.

The thing is tho, Confessions was the radio and the dance floor meeting in the middle. That’s what made hung up a novelty pop song and cool club track. It’s how a few years later when Gaga came on the scene with just dance this became the formula for late 00s and early 2010s pop music.

Okay so… i do like the production. But i feel this is a track that would make the most sense when you listen to the full album.
