It is important I get 8,294,400 pixels (4K) at 120 frames a second. Otherwise it just doesn’t feel real.
It is ok if half of those pixels are just kinda guesses based on zettabytes of YouTube and pornhub my graphics card watched

It was in the new year bundle I think? Didn't think much of it at first tbh but it's pretty easy to tweak stuff to make it not "elemental"

It also helps that I got myself an asset pack full of nice particle templates, meshes and textures. Honestly bums me out how fast I can do that kind of stuff compared to before, AND it looks better too
Yes! And I always felt icky about having all these bespoke scripts that were for the most part either a one-line DOTween call or a complex coroutine. And like, having to make a shader, a material, a script...so cumbersome
I resisted it for a long time, but in my current project I finally saw the truth. Need a mesh that fades out after 1 second? Shuriken. Need an object that scales in a very specific manner over time? Shuriken. Need a pulsating indicator that scales up and down? Believe it or not, also Shuriken
