Dreamt up Dr. Zahi Hawass showing me around an exhibit of artifacts from Tutankhamen’s Tomb. They were all reproductions of originals, so I was invited to take something as a souvenir. I found a tennis ball sized cat statue that looked like a loaf with ears and a tail.

I enjoy that your story’s competition/struggle is within the sport of basketball itself. Your characters have vastly different opportunities to interact with one another outside of the game and in the game. It makes them more dynamic and real.
