Quote from Stephen Wolfram, "A sequence of things start going wrong. Computers get diseases, much like humans do, that things start going wrong. The computer starts getting sort of old and tired. That's the kind of thing that happens as you run a computer for a while... Eventually, when you reboot it, it's like you're clearing everything out of memory, so it's a fresh start, and you get to start allocating blocks of memory again."
Sometimes the best fix is simple: pause, reset and start fresh.
(Applies to computers and humans.)
