Today was one of the first times that I journaled mad. My handwriting was atrocious, but I wrote away!

I love that my wife’s TikTok is her posting about our dog, and she’s giving me the analytics of how her videos are doing.

I'm late to the party for most things, but Frieren is a great show!

I should probably make a doctor’s appointment soon… Worried that my left ear might have some damage that if I don’t do something about it, it’ll be permanent.

One of my favorite things about writing microfictions is that if the maximum word count is 500 words and my first draft is roughly 350 to 400 words, I can really expand on my story.

It’s only 9 A.M., and I already want my wife and I to have a slice of her birthday cake!

I've been on a liminal space horror kick. The Backrooms trailer has me watching the YouTube videos and scrolling through images of eerie backrooms.

Talk about a time capsule here! I remember playing the Hunk and Tofu levels for Resident Evil 2 on the N64 because of Cheat Codes.

Ever feel like a bad friend, because you didn't attend someone's livestream event, but they don't know who you are, because you have never actually met them, and you just made up that scenario in your head that you disappointed them by not attending?

I'm having a Monday, if you haven't noticed.

I should’ve waited till my wife and I actually got to celebrate my dog’s birthday before adding this picture of Chance with his gifts!

I think since I don't want to carry around my 16" laptop, the idea of working at coffee shops is always a pass.

I do like the idea of e-readers as your writer screen; the BYOK was something I thought of for a distraction-free writing device.

For the writers out there, I’m curious. Does new technology (laptops, writerdecks, etc.) entice you to upgrade what you currently have as your writing setup?

My Lenovo laptop works perfectly, but seeing the new MacBook Neo, I’ve been tempted to trade it in.

Chance is Ten Years Old! Today, my dog, Chance, turns ten years old! I write about the day we got him, how much he means to us, and I share a recipe for pupcakes that I make for his birthday!

Chance is ten years old! It's wild to think of how fast time goes anymore.

I bought my wife a pair of JBL earbuds for Christmas one year, so they eventually became mine when I found out she had never used them. So, I’ve been using these earbuds for a bit now, and I realized they still play music, despite the volume set all the way down to mute… weird.

With how much I enjoyed watching Project Hail Mary, it had me thinking of any other books that I’d love to see on the big picture. Granted they stick to the source material. My number one pick is Dungeon Crawler Carl.

Nothing like wanting to be productive on your writing, but your headache is keeping you from doing that.

I feel so tired all of a sudden. I wanted to get some writing done before bed, but my brain feels like mush.

The winds were howling furiously outside, and all of a sudden, quiet. I’m hoping the severe storm just passed by. Constantly worried about the storm doing something is keeping me up tonight.

What is Your Old Blue Chair? In 2004, U.S. country singer Kenny Chesney released his eighth studio album, When the Sun Goes Down, which included the song “Old Blue Chair.” A song about reflection and reliving memories, I ask the readers, what is their equivalent to an old blue chair? For me, it’s the walking trail that’s behind my apartment. I write about why I chose that trail, and how much it means to me, then I finish off by asking again for the readers to share their favorite spot where they can just reflect.

What is your equivalent to an old blue chair?

In all of my dog's almost 10 years, this is the first time fireworks have bothered him, so thanks to the asshat that thinks March 14th is National Light Fireworks Off Day.

I'm having one of those days where what I'm trying to achieve may be very simple, but today it just isn't clicking with me.

For context: I would like to have my WordPress site start using ActivityPub so I can link it to my Mastodon account, but I feel lost for some reason!

I definitely woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Maybe coffee didn’t help me like I thought it should.
