I should probably make a doctor’s appointment soon… Worried that my left ear might have some damage that if I don’t do something about it, it’ll be permanent.

One of my favorite things about writing microfictions is that if the maximum word count is 500 words and my first draft is roughly 350 to 400 words, I can really expand on my story.

I think since I don't want to carry around my 16" laptop, the idea of working at coffee shops is always a pass.

I do like the idea of e-readers as your writer screen; the BYOK was something I thought of for a distraction-free writing device.

For the writers out there, I’m curious. Does new technology (laptops, writerdecks, etc.) entice you to upgrade what you currently have as your writing setup?

My Lenovo laptop works perfectly, but seeing the new MacBook Neo, I’ve been tempted to trade it in.

I bought my wife a pair of JBL earbuds for Christmas one year, so they eventually became mine when I found out she had never used them. So, I’ve been using these earbuds for a bit now, and I realized they still play music, despite the volume set all the way down to mute… weird.

With how much I enjoyed watching Project Hail Mary, it had me thinking of any other books that I’d love to see on the big picture. Granted they stick to the source material. My number one pick is Dungeon Crawler Carl.

In 2004, U.S. country singer Kenny Chesney released his eighth studio album, When the Sun Goes Down, which included the song “Old Blue Chair.” A song about reflection and reliving memories, I ask the readers, what is their equivalent to an old blue chair? For me, it’s the walking trail that’s behind my apartment. I write about why I chose that trail, and how much it means to me, then I finish off by asking again for the readers to share their favorite spot where they can just reflect.
