A poster with a colorful stack of books on the left and this text on the right: “Hey, Teenagers: Pay close attention to the books people try to ban. Then, make a beeline to read those books, if you can. Find out for yourself why those people want that book banned. Find out for yourself if they can be trusted to know what’s best for you.” ~ Jeff Zentner

NASA has just released a new perspective of Jupiter so sharp it’s almost impossible to comprehend. Those intricate, marble-like swirls aren't just clouds—they are colossal storms, many of which could swallow Earth whole. 🌍🌪️

Toad looked at the ground again. The seeds did not start to grow.
Toad put his head very close to the ground and shouted, “NOW SEEDS, START GROWING!”
NASA releases new image of planet Jupiter captured by James Webb Space Telescope, the most powerful telescope ever built.

A satellite of the open and closed Strait of Hormuz which is mine-free and currently being cleared of mines that were laid earlier by Iran’s non-existent Navy
UPDATE, Islamabad, 18:30hrs:
Negotiations continue to determine if negotiations can begin. A ceasefire continues & no-one has ceased fire. The Strait is open & closed; it is mine-free & mines are being cleared by the US Navy. Iran’s unfrozen assets are frozen. The regime remains changed & stable.

A view of Planet Earth in which the brown and green land is seen dotted amidst the blue sea. Some white whispy clouds roll across the hemispheres. The bottom right of the outline of earth is glowing from the light of the sun. The outline of the Orion window is faintly visible in the photo
PHOTO OF THE DAY: Perhaps of the greatest photos ever taken.
Captured by the crew of Artemis II this morning, looking at all of us through the window of the Orion capsule. The outline of the window is faintly visible in the photo.
Breathtaking.

Meteorologists are reaching for superlatives to describe an oncoming heat wave so intense and rare for this time of year that it could leave some locations shattering their all-time temperature records for April before that month has even begun.

Funny video BUT SHE WASN'T FIRED. She's transferred to Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas. Which sounds/reads like a reward. I can't help but feel like we've been played, that THEY knew this going into the hearing, think about the coverage. Another Wag the Dog scene played for us to watch.

I moved to Atlanta in the early 90's, same, dirty smog you could see hanging over the city from 50 miles away.
