The fun memories aren’t the problem. It’s the mundane ones. I don’t need to keep things because I can remember that I got it when my aunt was going to throw it away in 1997, but it reminded me of her old apartment so I kept it. I can’t live like this.

I’m at this weird place with all my collections where I just don’t want them anymore. I want yo cut my old comics up to make collages. I want yo get rid of all my clamshells and make furniture from the tapes. I just want to not have the responsibility of holding onto memories any longer.
I received this magazine for Easter in 1993. I was 9 years old. I also received a 64 box of crayons and a pack of construction paper. My mother was working overnights at Cub Foods at this time and I remember thinking how she just bought the items on her way home from work. She was fired shortly after this for having a short register multiple times. She claimed it wasn’t her fault and they just had it out for her. The first time I can remember my mom claiming people had it out for her for no real reason. Shortly after this holiday is when things got really bad in my childhood. Easter 1993 is a memory I think back to often as one of the last times I really felt safe.
My favorite Easter was 1993. I was 9 years old. I received this wrestling magazine, a 64 box of crayons, and a pack of construction paper.
I have been getting an unusual amount of calls and texts from recruiters the past two weeks.
Neighbors update their giant skeleton for the holidays. This is Easter.
I cannot remember a year I’ve been less excited for Easter. Anyways, here’s the neighborhood Easter Skeleton.
I had no idea this existed! How do I go about getting an invite?
I don’t know what this is.
I don’t. I probably should.
Lots of Sacramento bumpers from 1983 to look forward to if that’s your thing.
Found a tape at an art store full of episodes of The Charlie Brown and Snoopy show from 1983. Lots of good commercials to share.
I was out buying art supplies this weekend and the warehouse had a VHS tape in a bin. I decided to take a chance on it and the tape ended up being full of The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show from 1983 with commercials. I’ll have some new videos to post soon.
Coworker brought free day old burgers from a school cafeteria.
I was on my way to heat mine up and another coworker gave me their burger. I ate them both. I regret it.
Coworker brought in free cafeteria burgers this morning. I should not have eaten two. What’s wrong with me?

The former site of Comic Asylum in Worth.
Attempted to stop at Comic Asylum in Worth on my way home from work only to discover that it has closed down. Sad day.
Tried Atlas comics in search of Sleepwalker back issues today.
The back issues were labeled as Misc. S and I only had so much time to flip through boxes before I had to head back to work.
Only picked up issue 4 from the 2018 mini series for $1. Still need issue 3 from the 2018 series.
Tried a new comic shop today in my search for missing back issues of Sleepwalker. They only had issue 4 of the 2018 4 issue mini series which I’m only getting because it was $1. I still need issue 3 from 2018 and issues 9, 21, 25, and the holiday special from the 90s series.
I’m missing 9, 21, 25, and the holiday special.
Alternate Reality is a fun shop. I was able to find Sleepwalker issue 30 here.
Elsewhere Comics was small, but it had a ton of comics. A real throwback to the kinds of comic shops I remember from my youth. I found Sleepwalker issue 29 here.
Tried two different spots looking for issues of Sleepwalker I’m missing today. I was able to find one missing issue at each shop. Only 4 issues left to find.
Packaging for the Big Arch. I chose not to save the box for posterity. A decision I may come to regret.
My view after opening the Big Arch box.

She pretty much stays in the same spot, but she briefly had no head. I don’t know what these people are up to, but it’s fun.

He means well. His wife is a lunch lady at a school and I guess she gets to take home extra food.
A yogurt container of cheese and a cereal bar that expired in September given to me by a coworker.
I have a coworker who regularly hands out food to people. Today he gave me a yogurt container full of cheese and a very expired cereal bar. It’s going to be a great day!
