funny bc i always prod at my friends to share their unfinished works n rough sketches. i like seeing where everything started off and how it pans out. so much fun looking at any napkin doodles they do on the side, just wandering ideas that arent tethered to any larger concepts

i forget sometimes you can just share your wips with people. im so used to wanting smthn im working on to reach a 'done' state, i rarely show any of the work in between starting and finishing. that and small, low stakes doodling like studies n loose ideas. might try showing more of those :)

hearts very full tonight :) birthday was wonderful, very grateful for everyone. hoping this year will be kinder to all of you despite everything

felt a little lost sometimes tinkering with all the knobs n sliders to see which combination of settings would achieve the look i desired. would be nice to just KNOW what everything does and how less or little of it i need without having to just trial n error it all

i did learn how to make my first brush for that some months ago with some help from a friend. got some scans of my fav marker (pentel sign), registered it into clip's library to use for a brush and messed w the settings until it drew like i wanted. was suuper fun

need more tutorials on how to port irl brushes/markers/etc onto clip (and other digital art software by extension). like all of them show u how to make a brush that draws plaid or ribbons easier but not ones that can emulate how a felt tip pen feels
