'Everybody Sick with the Flu' After World War I, a menace more deadly than mustard gas, bombs, or bullets sweeps across the globe, killing millions, including navy sailors.

Doesn’t know much about US military history does he.

Made me think of the joke about the goblin teasmade.

One of his best.

Around here they swarm around 8.30 in the summer evenings and fly across the river to the trees in the churchyard. They are joined by others swarming up from the fields on the other side. Hundreds of them. Quite a sight to watch.

That’s what I have planned for tonight as well.

Looks odd without the Blue Liberty labels. Had my copy since 1971.

primroses

primroses

At this time of the year primroses grow in the unvisited woods and fields that slope down to the beck. The only songs are the birds above the laughing of the water.

Beck and tudor bridge

Beck and tudor bridge

Thorsgill Beck and Tudor packhorse bridge.

Sitting here, for a few moments, I can just about forget that there are a couple foul and loathsome individuals intent messing up the world for the majority.

Amazed it got the go ahead. KC artwork is usually of a high standard (with a couple of exceptions) but that's just plain amateur hour.

Taylors. Proper beer. Used to live across the park from the brewery. The cellar would sometimes fill up a little with clear spring water. The same they use to brew with. The springs run under Lund Park to the brewery at the bottom of the hill.

That KC cover is terrible.

The Move - The Move - UK stereo.

Their first album from 1968. UK psychedelia at its best. Worth it just for Flowers in the Rain

No thanks, not at that price. I’d walk out and go to the local supermarket and buy about 4 or 5 bottles for that amount.

They won't while you're looking at them. Did you try turning your back to them and then turning round again? If you did you would have noticed they'd all changed places.

I remember collecting them. think you could send off and get an album to put them in if you collected so many wrappers.

Looks good, very rustical cold farmers, but just how are the neighbours going to remain dry when it next rains.

wankers in campers.

wankers in campers.

Took this yesterday. 'Nazis in Northallerton' works well as a bit of alliteration but maybe 'wankers in campers' might also be a good fit.
