Last night our new Amazon Prime show The Mighty Nein had its world premiere on YouTube. Judging from the live chat reaction I'd say it went down quite well. Honoured to be a part of the this great Titmouse crew! The series will air weekly on Amazon Prime from November 19. Check it out!
Alternative? It was revolutionary and predated Lightroom by 2 years. I’m still bitter that Apple killed it.
They were also darlings of the video editing community with the original Final Cut Pro (Premiere was a joke at the time) and they killed that too. FCPX was never embraced in the same way.
I have 4 Macs, and this issue inexplicably affects 2 of them. I've tried all the known methods to reindex the drives. Clearly the index is working (because Finder can find stuff). I guess Spotlight itself is just borked. Fun times!
@myke.social I too am having issues with Spotlight in macOS Tahoe 26.0.1. It can find Apps, but not contacts or files. However, I just realised that I can find files through Finder's search tool, which is truly bizarre because Spotlight and Finder use the same database under the hood. 🤷♂️
Cool, that’s the version I’m using. Thanks!
@fakegreendress.bsky.social @adobe.com @adobevideo.adobe.com 🤔 Any known issues with After Effects and the new macOS 16 Tahoe that launched yesterday? The Adobe macOS compatibility page has not been updated for Tahoe at time of posting. helpx.adobe.com/download-ins...
A better narrative would be that dinosaurs are dying out from disease. But they are SO popular that we need to genetically modify them to resist infection and keep the park money flowing. But something went wrong and escaped from the lab…
We came up with that on the ride home.
Saw Jurassic World Rebirth. The whole premise that people are "bored of regular dinosaurs so we need to make mutant dinosaurs" is absurd. Nobody is bored of zoos. People queue in long lines to watch a lone panda sit around and do fuck all. No, we are just bored of this franchise.
I wish Apple had re-named the much improved Files app to Finder in iPadOS 26. With menu bar support, multiple draggable windows, and column view, it's Finder in all but name! So of course I used the classic Shortcuts custom icon trick to right this wrong! #WWDC25
Amazing. Is this a new feature of aseprite or a plugin?
I firmly believe that the phrase "A watched pot never boils" should be replaced by "An eagerly anticipated delivery never arrives". Out for delivery MY ARSE.
OMG you're right. I never thought to try that LOL. I was trying to just select the text with the mouse, which of course does nothing. Thank you!
@fakegreendress.bsky.social Please make the text of AE alerts selectable. It would really speed things up, when writing jsx with ChatGPT, if I could quickly copy and paste an error into the message field instead of tediously typing it out 😂.
😂 cannot believe this worked

Well done, Universal Studios. Well bloody done.

Drove 350 miles through a rain storm to hang with the awesome Star Trek: Lower Decks cast and fellow crew at the series wrap party, meeting many of them for the first time in person. Totally worth it! 🖖 @mikemcmahan.bsky.social @tawnynewsome.bsky.social
Ooh that's a neat workaround. I assume that's only for new imports? If I'm dealing with AEPs with hundreds of existing images I'd still have to do it manually and copy/paste the interpretation. Thanks for the link though! Nice to see that other people are asking for the same feature. 😁
On my current gig we’re using Adobe Color Management. Re: OCIO, I haven’t tried it yet, but it’s also above my pay grade to change the established pipeline mid-production.
@fakegreendress.bsky.social Hey Victoria. Can you look into making the Interpret Footage > Preserve RGB setting accessible via scripting? When automating a pipeline, not being able to access this via a script is always a stumbling block. #AfterEffects
Strange new greeting card trend at Whole Foods. The envelopes have the same designs as the actual cards. SPOILER ALERT.
Stay safe down there!
Since 2001 it’s been my New Year’s Day tradition to drag last year’s emails into a new folder, mark them all as “Read”, and never look at them again.
yeah it can make mistakes. I learned that hard way too! It's best to do a handful of albums at a time and check as you go rather than dumping in everything in at once.
If anything is missed by “Lookup” you can use “Scan” to lookup by audio fingerprint or “Lookup in browser” to manually search their database which can then be added back to Picard through a special tag link on the webpage. Tons of ways to configure it to your needs too.
Drag MP3s into the left column and click “Cluster” to group by existing metadata. Then “Lookup” to populate the right hand column with metadata from their database. Then drag the files from the left to the right. If the CD turns gold then everything is correct. Now click “Save”.
@aiannucci.bsky.social the scrutiny of the today’s BBC budget would never allow it. For shame! Who can forget “Question Time: Live from Wembley Stadium” or the groundbreaking Radio 4 series “Alistair Cooke: Live from Central Park” youtu.be/av52GAhLlBw?...
