Throughout the existence of the Cuala Press, the Irish Photo Engraving Company Ltd., which was located on Middle Abbey Street, Dublin, manufactured most of the photoengraved printing blocks which were used to create the visual and literary artworks which the Cuala Press is renowned for today.

... that the original Cuala Press printing presses & associated materials (typesets, tools, printing blocks, etc.) were once housed in this very building? Today, an array of artworks which were created upon these presses now rest in exhibition cases within this space.
