I've returned home from my treatment, and I'm relieved to report that I had no reaction to the Carboplatin. As per my treatment plan, I'm scheduled to receive two chemos with each cycle. The next cycle in January will include a new chemo, and I'm hoping for a smooth experience. #cancer #chemo

I was diagnosed with cancer on the 11th. I’ve already been to see my oncologist and have surgery for 10/20. It’s like my life has been turned upside down in a single phone call. I won’t be able to keep my job while I’m out for 4/6 weeks. Haven’t been there long enough form FMLA. Cancer sucks.

It’s with a grateful heart that he’s now running free over the rainbow bridge. He didn’t suffer and I am so thankful to the Tampa Bay Humane Society, they took such compassionate care of him and us.
Almost 16 years ago we were blessed with a vibrant little puppy that was all ears. He was our Super Bowl puppy and named after our New Orleans Saints TE, Jeremy Shockey. Shockey had been with us through so many uplifting and challenging times.
