2D Rigging becomes more efficient the longer your project is. TV shows for younger kids are often made using rigging as it saves time on 10-20 minute episodes with recurring characters. Of course, it might vary if you were doing more complicated movements or using a more detailed art style.

Same. Rigging is a much more frontloaded task... the hardest part is getting it working properly. Animating afterwards is a lot shorter than frame-to-frame though.

Weren't they unable to use this name later down the line, so they switched it to "Daddy-O" or something like that?

Aww, I liked the Streamline dub. I thought ADV's dub for "New Fist of the North Star" was alright, but it's been several years since I watched it.

The Zeta Gundam design for Char/Quattro feels like it would suit your style very well.

I wasn't particularly enamoured with the 3D animation for this new adaptation. It's a shame the dub lacks charm- my favourites are still the 80s film dub and the recent Discotek dubs for the 2000s movies.

Things must have been rough that month, I guess.

I don't think the TVB dub has any physical release. It may be like the supposed international dub of King Kong vs. Godzilla or even Godzilla 2000, where the plan was to use it for a cinema showing, but it ended up being shelved for whatever reason.

I remember getting Windcharger out of the box and wondering if the face moved as part of the transformation. I think it's funny, but why weren't we doing this for all the other box-headed lads?

It was 2001, but I like that the art style still has that more angular 90s look to it. I remember seeing it in Hyrule Historia, having had yet to play these games at the time, and it piqued my interest. I think they got released on 3DS Virtual Console only a few years later.

I had no idea you could skip to the end of the trading sequence. I have a soft spot for Seasons, but I tend to remember oddities outside the dungeons rather than the dungeons themselves. I always liked the official art they did for these games too.
