The nine lives tragically lost from the shootings in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, on February 11th, 2026, is of solemn concern to Canadians far and wide, and the expressions of compassion from many caring people throughout the world is greatly appreciated: www.canadianatheists.ca/bulletins/20...
Over 30 years ago I was director of a social service agency in Alaska that offered legit pregnancy counseling. A lot of women and girls came to us with eye-rolling stories from those centers. Best wishes with your research.
A post from Sarah Kendzior: "When wealth is passed off as merit, bad luck is seen as bad character. This is how ideologues justify punishing the sick and the poor. But poverty is neither a crime nor a character flaw. Stigmatise those who let people die, not those who struggle to live."
This.
If you missed it, over the weekend I put up a post documenting my progress learning how to write an NES emulator, using Godot: ratheronfire.com/thoughts/dev...
I'm not one to talk about NSFW topics or media online generally, but this ongoing wave of delisting and deplatforming creative works is extremely concerning. I made a call the other day that I *think* went well, but if nothing else I at least want to help get the word out.
I'm new to @Threads, but my account was disabled by @Instagram. They told me I violated rules, but didn't provide any details. I appealed their decision, and now my accounts on both are "permanently disabled."
I liked Threads, but I guess they don't care.

TheNotSoHushPuppy on Twitter writes: "There's no such thing as 'pregnant people.'" Randolf Richardson responds: "That's the opposite of reality!" with a picture of Finn and Jake (from the television series, Adventure Time) riding on the back of a dolphin swimming along the surface of the ocean.
Here's the dumbest thing I've read all year: "There's no such thing as 'pregnant people.'"
It's even dumber than the question "What species is a pregnant person?" (which was asked earlier this year and held the top place until today).

That's highly manipulative of Conservatives to do that, which shows that they really don't care about people. π
I ran a brief search and didn't find the information I needed, which is why I asked her directly -- I'm assuming that because she's calling for people to respond that she'd in the best position to provide the most accurate answer to my question.
What do you think of my approach?
Thanks, that is consistent with the brief search I did on Google. Do you know if she favours a particular position on these matters, or does she normally report in a more impartial manner?
Thank you Kelcie. I'm not familiar with your work, and so I'd like to know what the overall intention of your interviews is before deciding whether to re-share your callout request.
Thank you.
Any person who benefits from human rights is, unfortunately, being hypocritical when violating these same human rights of others who also ought to be equally entitled.
"Axe the Facts!" says Pierre Poilievre, the far-right extremist Christian leader of the Canadian Conservative Party (CCP), whilst wearing a suit with a blue wide-striped tie, standing up in the House of Commons and holding a rusty old axe from the Canadian fur trade era. Also, the Christian flag is positioned in the top-right corner of this picture.
Ah, Pierre Poilievre (notice the "lie" in the middle of his last name?), who runs around talking about axing taxes.
If Pierre "Timbit Trump" Poilievre was our Prime Minister today instead of Mark Carney, Canada would be sold out to Donald Trump and our freedoms would be illegal.

π¨ CBCβs At Issue: Is Pierre Poilievreβs leadership in trouble?
After MPs resign and cross the floor, insiders say his caucus may move to force him out β maybe as soon as Monday.
CBC says his latest blunder? Forgetting to file his own budget amendment.

I hope a dozen of them cross the floor.
