Started reading Berserk and Frieren this weekend. Very different ends of the fantasy spectrum. Both enjoyable for completely different reasons. Looking forward to getting stuck in with these series.

Here's my list for anyone who is curious! It's a pretty teched-out version of Dragapult Pidgeot. The only underperforming cards today were Professor's Research and Lillie's Pearl. I'm gonna test Research more. There were definitely times I wanted it but didn't have it. Pearl is out for sure.

Round 9 was a blowout loss against Terapagos. Drew a completely unplayable hand game 1. Game 2 was winnable but my Switch and Turo were in the discard due to having to pitch them for Ultra Balls to try to stay alive and set up.

Overall record: 4-3-2

Not bad for my first regional in 8 or so years.

Unfortunately tied round 8 against Raging Bolt. Opponent played really slowly and we went into turns in game 2 after I won game 1 handedly. Should have said something, but oh well. That's on me. The day 2 dream is dead, but we're still gonna play the last round.

Won round 6 2-0 against Raging Bolt. Opponent stumbled hard game 1 and I capitalized on it, game 2 was a blowout because of Pokemon League HQ. The dream is still alive somehow.

Won round 6 2-1 against a super greedy Greninja/Froslass/Pidgeot/Munkidori pile. Prized both Dragapult game 3 and had to beat my opponent down with Lillie's Clefairy. I'm tired and hungry and thirsty. I've gone to time 5 of 6 rounds today.

Won round 5 2-0 against Gholdengo. Hawlucha once again carrying the mf team and allowing for back to back 3 prize turns. Gotta keep winning.

Lost round 4 vs Terapagos Bouffalant. Went to game 3 again. Got my Pidgeot online too late game 3 and stumbled for a turn. Opponent got a Lillie's Clefairy online with a Bravery Charm and I couldn't deal with it because Ursaluna was prized. Gotta win out from here to make day 2.

Lost round 3 vs Tera Box. Game 2 I whiffed on supporters 3 turns in a row and prized both of my Pidgeots. Game 3 I tied us on prizes to try to force the draw, but he just had the nuts on the final turn in time and was able to knock out my Dragapult with a fully suited Lillie's Clefairy.

2-0 vs Gholdengo. Took a 1-3-2 prize line both games. Pal Pad, Blood Moon Ursaluna, and Hawlucha were MVPs.

Tied round 1 vs the mirror. Took a greedy line game 2 that could have won me the game, but he had the timely Iono that ripped that strategy to shreds. Game 3 was a slog, had him dead to rights with the Boss's Orders for back-to-back 3 prize turns but he had the Unfair Stamp.
