I've probably said it before, but I really hate when people gatekeep their home state. I get that each state has its own personality and culture, but change is inevitable. People will continue to migrate in order to thrive. Being mad about land that was never yours to begin with, is absurd.

I'm glad Beaverton, Oregon is protesting ICE, but I wish the community did a better job of spreading the word. I only ever hear about the protests after they happened.

Sometimes I miss having a religious community, and other times I remember the majority of sermons being about suffering hardships and how if you're not going through bad things, you're not really walking with God. (But also you're not supposed to be sad when bad things happen). It was exhausting.

Lately when I get takeout from a fast food chain, it ends up being really crappy quality and I regret not eating local or cooking at home.

I've seen CF women post about how they'll say they're infertile just to make people uncomfortable. I haven't reached that point yet, but its tempting. XD It's so weird how strangers get offended about it. Are they going to carry the baby for 9 months and raise it for me?

I used to love explaining to people, especially when they seemed genuinely curious. Unfortunately, I've had several conversations where men dismissed my reasons and insisted I would change my mind. Like I was too dumb to know what I want. These discussions are a waste of time. I've made my choice.

As a childfree woman in my 30's, I've learned to be as vague as possible when people ask if I have kids. There's this awkward silence when I say no and don't explain further. I'm happy to make them uncomfortable if it makes them regret asking strangers personal questions.
