Friends, the next grift is for Grifters to not only distance but to turn on him.

They are setting themselves up to run against him as someone who has seen the truth after they “fell for it, like you.”

Not to be flippant but look at Hungary and the journey of the person who got elected.

“The MAGA crowd is made of dumb people — like, SUPER dumb people. And they fall for it.”

For my @wired.com feature debut, I talked to Sam, a guy who made thousands of dollars on Instagram by scamming MAGA men with Emily Hart, an AI generated, Trump-loving influencer. www.wired.com/story/ai-gen...

Just finished the latest season of Love on the Spectrum. It’s truly a lovely show.

While I teared up a few times, I do have to admit that I had the same thought more than once: F*ck RFK Jr.

Y'all need to stop pretending that these moneyed tech people just recently became like this.

They've been far-right for a while. From the beginning.

Y'all just didn't want to hear it when their harm mostly affected Black people.

One time I was walking my dog in Silverlake area here in LA and Curry was having dinner at a restaurant’s outside patio. He saw my dog and said hi to him.

What has happened to LAFC.

The confidence and swagger at the start of this season has evaporated.

Granted, they have had back-to-back tough games but this is officially embarrassing.

“It’s a couple of things that work beautifully in concert. First: no music. Audiences are so sophisticated, but what they’re not accustomed to is not being told how to feel,” Wyle says. “You take all that out and it forces a level of engagement where you’re now looking for clues within the frame of the screen, which forces you to look up from your phone. And I think that is extremely engaging, especially to young viewers who aren’t accustomed to being asked to participate in a nonpassive way in the viewing experience.

“Second point, shooting it with almost exclusively 50-millimeter or 65-millimeter lenses, which is the most comparable to the human eye—and only shooting from the point of view of a human being that’s present in this space. There are no cameras on gurney wheels going in the hallway. There’s no cameras on the ceiling looking down from a God point of view. You are limited to the perspective of a participant. You can look away, but you can’t leave, and it becomes an endurance test for you to stay on your feet as long as we’re on our feet. Which [brings me to my] third point: real time. Real time has an aggregate sense of tension that you don’t get in any other form of storytelling. What happened before is happening now, and these two things are going to add up to the next thing. And if we throw more ingredients into this cooker and keep ratcheting it up, it’s going to pop.”

Wyle makes eye contact for his next point, delivering it with a Robby-esque matter-of-factness. “Fourth point: The election went the other way,” he says with a shrug. “We could have been a really good show with a lot of nice things to say in a perfectly normal Kamala Harris universe. And instead we became almost a beacon of hope and humanity in an alternative universe. But in the midst of that, fifth point—this is essentially competence porn. You’re watching really smart, dedicated people do what only they know how to do at a level that you don’t know how to do it, and you’re so fucking glad that they’re there doing it, and compartmentalizing their own stuff to put your broken pieces back together. You’re so reassured by knowing that there are people out there that laugh and joke and have the ability to lock in like that.”

Just got a tank of gas and it is another reminder that we are literally paying for other people’s stupidity.

We warned y’all. But you ignored us.

You made up excuses to justify your bad decision.

And your stupidity is costing us money, freedom and lives of innocent people.

Amid quarrel with pope, Trump strips Miami charity of funding to house migrant kids The move comes amid rising tensions between the administration and American Catholics.

INBOX: Amid rising tendons between Trump and Pope Leo, the administration has abruptly canceled an $11 million contract with Catholic Charities to shelter and care for migrant children who enter the U.S. alone, ending a relationship dating back to the first arrivals of Cuban exiles in South Florida.

I think of Chappelle’s story about when he decided to cancel his CC show. He said the white folks were laughing at the wrong things and he realized what was up. I wish he had that awareness now. Look who he is making laugh and why. (And who is paying him.)

Cameron Esposito | Rape Jokes (Full Comedy Special) YouTube video by 800 Pound Gorilla Media

Y’all, you can in fact make jokes about anything and everything, including Trans folks. (I HIGHLY recommend watching Cameron Esposito's Rape Jokes special.) But punching down is not the art nor funny. youtu.be/8w2_3epeZxE?...

I am sorry but I refuse to give him the 38 minutes of my time to hear him talk about how he is not to blame for using his platform to attack the Trans community despite people pointing how he was crossing the line. He doubled down.

Finally heard the NPR Morning Edition segment with. Could not be more disappointed in a comedian I truly admired.

People criticized companies and people for making deals after Khashoggi’s murder. It’s BS to claim he was the first to get called out.

And him to play victim to his Trans jokes?!
