I’d buy the 2028 presidential election
Poster for the IMAX rerelease of SPEED RACER
Now seated:
I keep seeing posting Superman (Supermen?) and I suddenly remembered that many moons ago I did this.
And I want to write more. But scheduling feels impossible when your schedule changes every week and you need as many hours as possible to make ends meet.
I’m so grateful for my partner, friends, and family for their support over the past 13.5 months of me being unemployed. Truly. But I’d love to feel like I am making progress. I’d love to find somewhere that I can plant my feet again for at least a few years and use the skills I have.
I have no complaints about the job itself, really. But this whole situation is so frustrating and has challenged every bit of emotional, mental, and physical resilience I have.
I’m glad to have a part time job where the pay is okay (I can *barely* pay my bills) but it also sucks that the only work I can easily get is so physically labor intensive that it leaves me with a lot less energy to look for a full time job that better matches my prior experience/earnings.
Cars are even faster. So what? The point of sports is to celebrate human performance.
Trying to liquidate these shirts since we're both still not working.

I miss weekends (really I miss having a predictable schedule)
It’s “saving what we love” not embracing Favreau’s action figure leftovers
"I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters. Not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bullshit. For those ten seconds or less, I'm free."
No fate but what we make
So happy for you!!!
If you paid even a penny in federal income tax last year, you paid more than:
Tesla
Southwest
Disney
Live Nation
HP
United
PayPal
CVS Health
Palantir
Citigroup
PG&E
3M
That's right. They paid $0 in federal income tax.
It's time for big corporations to pay their fair share.
Said this was my second favorite film in the franchise after the original during its original release, and I stand by that statement now. Heather’s write-up is terrific. Give it a read.
I’m so glad I stopped going here over a year ago. I’m so done with basically any publicly traded company. They all need to be pushed back.
13. All book covers. This is probably the lowest point for me since pre-1995
One of the best books about Marvel Comics (and I’ve read at least a half dozen). Highly recommended if you want to read about Stan Lee without hagiography!
Those kind of replies are why I don’t follow accounts like the one I reposted. Not everything has to be about him.
I just paid my taxes (screaming, crying, throwing up {derogatory}), so if you have a little wall space, I've got some prints!
*my delight of a printer threw in a few extra Godzillas, so there are 4 up for grabs!

Trying to decide what presidential administration would be the funniest setting for this and it’s definitely Nixon or Ford
I try to always have spaghetti and pancake supplies on hand.
Vonnegut.
