The brush strokes are rough and messy, and only the front of the head and neck are painted more properly. The rest is colored splashes of messy shapes which makes the character fade away into obscurity. And there's no background.

I finally bought gouache paints and got inspired to test them on a screenshot study of Cielo. Such a bizarre medium but also the sketchbook def wasn't the best choice for it (the paper started to break weehhhh).
