A statement from Colorado Democratic Party Chair Shad Murib that reads: Today’s killing in Minneapolis should anger every American. This isn’t just about bad training, this chaos is what Trump wants: armed, masked and unaccountable paramilitary of thugs who roam our neighborhoods, tear families apart and kill people in broad daylight with no consequence. This madness can happen in Colorado, and because spineless, weak Republicans in Congress just handed ICE a blank check, it very well might. The Senate must do everything it can to stop this reckless bill, Kristi Noem needs to resign and states must begin preparation to keep residents safe from ICE and fight disinformation from the Trump administration. How many more people have to die before this ends?

Whenever law enforcement agents are given a quota of a specific number of people to arrest or detain, especially with the WH policy director screaming at their superiors to hit those target numbers, bad things are going to happen. Quotas always result in civil rights violations.

Businesses are raising prices after tariffs, even on unaffected goods This could be a sign that companies are using the new tariffs as an excuse to raise prices overall.

A "significant share" of companies surveyed by the Federal Reserve said they raised the prices of goods and services unaffected by tariffs.

One company said they did this to "enjoy the extra margin before tariffs increased their costs."
