Seven years to the day and at the same spot that we met, on Dolly Parton’s birthday, no less, we’re finally engaged!

I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Howard as we make new memories, go on even more adventures, and continue to build upon the incredible life that we’ve built.

I shaved off the beard!
Last week we went to the home of Shiner beers, had a fun night of bowling, enjoyed the unseasonably warm New Year weather at a brewery, and we visited the Harry Ransom Center’s current exhibit of amazing documents, clips, and artifacts from the Lorne Michaels Collection.

Wondering where Austin election results are? No early vote counts in Travis County until everyone has voted.

Voted for as well but the vibes are off in the city lately.

I’m not surprised. People are anxious about the economy and frustrated by the lack of progress on addressing homelessness with current funding and policies.

Photo of a rainbow-colored sidewalk. Across the street is an old building made of red bricks that looks like it’s from another era (which it is). The contrast between history and embracing change is evident.

I recently visited western Massachusetts and loved seeing the historic buildings next to such a visible display of Pride and inclusion.

Watching one of my childhood favorites.

If memory serves correctly this was a repeat watch at @christinajcooke.bsky.social’s house.

2001 was a simpler, sillier time and I miss that. Unfortunately, there’s a future president who has cameos. Hilariously, Alexander Skarsgard is one of the models.

Just finished the @samsanders.bsky.social interview with @boomboomhiller.bsky.social and had so many laughs and smiles.
Their conversation reminded me so much of when @howardamorrison.bsky.social and I met Jeff at Williamstown Theatre Festival in 2024 and had the best time talking at the pub.

Just discovered @samsanders.bsky.social podcast that’s less than a year old and am hurriedly building out my queue. I’ll definitely have plenty of time to catch up on the road trip back to Austin in a few weeks.
