Delighted to be running yet another packed action day in the Rushmere St Andrew by-election.
Just one seat separates @thegreenparty.bsky.social and the Tories at East Suffolk Council and the race is neck-and-neck.
Lots of people impressed by Julian Cusack on the doorstep!
Whoās that PokĆ©mon?
It's time we did something about rip-off rents - and my amendment to the Renters' Rights Bill would do just that. My column for @metro.co.uk ā¬ļø #RentControls #GenerationRent

I got so used to never ever posting anything on twitter because it became so pointless when the algorithm drives you to promoted content that I keep forgetting to ever post anything here too
Itās like Iāve got trauma from twitter
Donāt ask the boring context for this photo of my cats paw but sheās really looking at me like: āyou better not be selling my feet pics nowā
Motivation at an all-time low as we are dangerously close to my annual leave ending
When itās too hot under the duvet but too cold to sleep without it
Got my Ā£5.50 back today and now they have a card theyāve got no use for so the joke is on them.
Norwich City Council doesnāt operate here but Iāve requested that they shelter rough sleepers on Wednesday night at the very latest when feels-like temperatures are set to hit, and drop below freezing.
They may say they wait for other authorities but they should take the initiative.
Contender for weirdest Christmas gift? A collection of allen keys (donāt get me wrong - I did mention at one point that I didnāt have enough)
To be very clear, I reached out to the Cabinet Member for Housing directly during the storm and received no response to this day. I put in a councillor enquiry through the official process and only received a response a week after the storm had ended.
I was really proud that we were able to win a change so that rough sleepers are given shelter *before* temperatures hit freezing, and during extreme weather.
Itās really disappointing to see the council fail at the first test and not recognise their mistake.

I didnāt think she could come to my parents house! She is at a very very loving home in the meantime though being absolutely spoiled
I said I was missing my cat over Christmas so my sister brought round this little angel š„ŗ
Labour does not get nature.
āThe action plan is agreed and written. It is utterly baffling that this new government would want to shelve all that work".
No wonder we are one of the most nature-depleted corners of this planet, with #biodiversity in free fall

Not my mum deciding to educate the Facebook bigots on Christmas Day
Enforce the fox hunting ban this boxing day
š“ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó “ó æScotland has the strongest hunting laws in the UK.
š«But today, will be a true test for these laws.
š¦Authorities must enforce these laws for the sake of our nature.
I have made roasted brussel sprouts with a honey, red wine vinegar and chilli glaze but my father has still decided he wants to boil some for himself.
Criminal.
My god no - I was in WHSmith and didnāt expect their prices to be just as bad
Similar to the £5.50 extortion that I was the victim of earlier?
Very happy with my first batch of Yorkshire puddings today
You worked in Clintonās - honestly the worst demographic of people are the ones youād find in there
I think greetings cards as a whole are a complete waste of money and paper unless itās for a proper message and someone you donāt see often but giving cards to your immediate family⦠I just donāt understand what the point of that could ever be
She loves public transport
I was in a rush and thought I didnāt mind paying a couple quid because I was in their to buy a gift card and they really exploited that.
Really hit my anti-capitalist nerve.
WHSmith just charged me £5.50 for a generic Christmas card
If any company deserves bankruptcy, itās that one.
Councils used to be able deliver for communities and make their local areas places to be proud of.
Now they are stripped back to the bone, struggling to deliver even the most critical services while our country degrades around us.
Labour should be ashamed they are not even trying to reverse this
Despite rhetoric from the Labour government, local councils will yet again be forced to make cuts to services while increasing council tax.
We still live under Tory austerity even if itās for a Labour rosette on now, and itās the poorest that will be hit the hardest by this.
Just some light holiday reading for a councillor passionate about housing
