Orban is out! Bye bye, you fascist cunt!
And they made a fuss about her shaking Martin Mcguinness' hand! The amount of war criminals she celebrated, as long as they were committing crimes for Western interests, seems endless.
If there was ever a time to design a real working lightsaber it would be now. So we can decapitate these cunts in style.
The thing I like particularly about the fact that Isaac Newton invented the catflap is it gives the image of him trying to lay the foundations of classical mechanics but getting distracted by having to let a cat out then in again 40 seconds later and thinking, “Shit, I really need to sort this.”
Western imperialism doesn't bring freedom.
It brings murderous chaos.

That’s one hell of a cover…..
My main worry for Colbert's project is that it won't make sense when taken out of the context of Book 1 of Lord of the Rings. The main threat overhanging that section is the Nazgul stalking Frodo, Sam, Fatty Bolger, etc. But the movie will be set after the Ringwraiths were destroyed.
Personally I've always thought an animated movie in which the main cast are brought back to voice themselves made more sense. Have the framing device of Frodo telling kids the story of his journey but have one of the kids ask, "Did you leave anything out of the story?" Call it Lotr Unfinished Tales.
The rumour is that the story will take place years after the end of the #lotr and will have Merry, Sam and Pippin going to save Sam's daughter. If so, that might allow a story centred on saving her from the Wights of the Barrow Downs but as to how they string the Nazgul centric chapters I don't know
So the news about Colbert's #lotr project has me intrigued. I've always thought that any new Tolkien project should try and make use of the chapters Jackson left out from when Frodo leaves Hobbiton to the Barrow Downs episode. They are some of my favourite chapters along with those in Moria. But...
What gave this away as being AI to me was the absence of an Irishman kicking this knob in the balls.
Welcome to the hellscape cutie!

My cat sleeps all day and then keeps me awake all night so this gave me a good laugh.

I don’t think unconditional surrender is imminent.
You can have the best armed forces in the history of the world, but if you are an incompetent criminal without a plan, you can still lose a war, and rather quickly.
Check out Robert Fisk's pieces in the 1980s on the American navy's shooting down of a civilian airplane over the Persian Gulf and then their years-long denial that they murdered 200+ innocent Iranians. Sadly, there is nothing new about this.
Tragedy and farce, at the same time.
Taylor Irish Materialisms
Used reading week to finally finish this excellent book: Colleen Taylor’s Irish Materialisms: The non-human and the making of colonial Ireland, 1690-1830. it uses coins, flax, spinning wheels, mud and pigs(!) to think about material lives of Irish peasants
But then again they wouldn't being as Greenland is seen as a lot more European than Iran. Aka. in their minds far more civilised and human.
Perhaps it's because I'm Irish but the colonial white supremacist underpinnings of this war is just glaring and the lack of self awareness across EU media makes me want to scream. Not two months ago you were screaming about Trump invading Greenland and you can't see the obvious parallels?
What infuriates me more than anything about this is the casual way people in the media just throw out, "Well of course I'd have no problem murdering the head of state of one of these savage nations, if they just had a plan for what to do next?"
The real epoch changing event recently has been the rise of China as a rival to this centuries old racket of essentially European white supremacy. So, much of what is going on right now is fundamentally grounded in this loss of power by the European empire to its former victims.
Over the last 70 years there has been a form of neocolonialism in which these powers allow a token autonomy but maintain the right to topple any government or assassinate any leader they see fit, for little or no reason. All while extracting vast wealth from the poorest societies in the world.
The European (and extended European colonial states) have dominated the world militarily and economically since at least the 18th century. They imposed their preferred economic model, racial hierarchy, religion and politics at the point of a barrel, killing hundreds of millions in the process.
Stunning victory in Stroud last night.
Look at that majority! 💚😍

If you ever needed more evidence that the British media ultimately decides who wins every UK election based on the propaganda they spew out in the weeks leading up to polling day. The house always wins!
We are deciding right now whether we want to be a country with ethnic cleansing and concentration camps.
