If the Kickstarter is successful, the plan is to finish at least the first chapter, release it on Steam, and seek additional funding from publishers or indie games funds for localization, marketing, and QA support.

The scope we need for the demo is:
- Our main character (8 directions, several 4 frame animations)
- A random encounter opponent in the overworld (3 directions, walk/run/alert, 8 frames)
- 2 NPCs (single direction, 8 frames, idle/fidget/emote)

The artstyle is generally cartoony, but some characters are rendered in artforms unique to their original culture. For example, nymphs found later in the game are drawn in an ancient Grecian urn style, and the boss of the first chapter is rendered in flat, traditional PNW formline.

We're a team of a 5 artists and a designer (myself) working on a demo to release alongside a Kickstarter campaign spring of next year. The game is about a Victorian era oprhan lost in the realm of tricksters. The gameplay is split between an adventure RPG overworld and Paper Mario/StS encounters.
