I am not surprised at his saying that, along with other Republican talking points, but that Stephanie Ruhle would host such an idéologue. Stephanie usually manages to bring understanding of economics and business without falling for Republican clichés.

Did I hear that right? Mark Short told Stephanie Ruhle that Trump voters have accepted Trump's weaponization of the Justice Department because of Biden's "lawfare." Biden's DOJ bent over backwards to be fair. Shouldn't Short have said "perceived" or "alleged" lawfare? Is he spouting right wing lies?

We pay the price determined on the world market. So we produce most of the oil we need, and our oil companies, without doing anything different, get paid the high world prices. We need to tax these windfall profits.

The algorithm pulls the market up or down based on key words. It doesn't analyse lies, hypocrisy, or ignorance.

Yes, it's a piece of the puzzle that, when all is in place, makes him dictaror!

Go NASA, Go! I am so glad that at least part of the space program is still in the public realm! No billionaires should have the ability to conduct their own private space program, happily allowing their "mistakes" to blow up, ultimately costing the taxpayers billions.

He threatened to bomb Iran back to the Stone Age, bomb power plants+electrical infrastructure-even the desalination plants won't supply drinking water. The Iranian people have suffered a cruel regime and now the US wants to cause more suffering+inflict war crimes. Our policies should protect Iranians

The challenge to birthright citizenship undermines the status of most Americans. All of us born in the US were granted citizenship for that reason alone. Once that is taken away, the stage is set to strip anyone of their citizenship for whatever reason some wanabe dictator imposes-mass intimidation!

They say he's losing it, but I see no change - just as nonsensical+irrational as ever. In the vacant space that should house a President, others have moved in. The nasty bravado of Hegseth, the bloody cruelty of Miller, and the greedy, power-hungry Vought conspire to rob us of our rights and safety.

Many of us Americans are very upset that Trump has treated our traditional allies, like Germany, so badly. We long for the time when we clearly stood for democracy and were not complicit with Putin or other dictators. We are fighting massive disinformation and an authoritarian takeover. No Kings!

We need to speak truth to power. And, speak truth to idiots.

It's a pity they replaced coal with nuclear, inviting another set of problems.

Yes, 2 years is a long time in the renewable energy world!

They are cheaper, more consistent functioning over temperature differentials, no problem with fire. The problem is energy density. Have the Chinese solved this? Also conversion from a lithium battery factory to a sodium battery factory is relatively easy, I've heard.

Every day we encounter the disasters churned out by a clueless administration. Trump/Hegseth gutted the agency that protected civilians during wars, updating locations of hospitals, schools, and other civilian targets. It sounded too woke for their taste. So they bombed a girls' school. A tragedy.

What is the name of the toxic element in the spray?

It is amazing how much of the agenda of horror is in Project2025. And yes, as climate change undermines the insurance business model, we are more reliant on FEMA than ever. It is life-threatening to render this agency powerless to help people.

Thanks fir the glimpse! Denmark is wonderful! And the countries around the North Sea do have a great wind resource, not as much as Patagonia, but enough that it nears the old "baseload" function.

Absolutely we need to get off of fossil fuels. Trump taking US backwards, denies climate change+tries to stop renewables. Europe has steadily built up a significant policy agenda around defossilizing energy and industry. My comment merely points out that Denmark is embedded in that Transition.

Denmark is part of the European Union, and an important and innovative part of the European Energy Transition. There are collaborative efforts among the countries of the EU. Why is the role of the EU ignored? CCUS, defossilized industry, green hydrogen, clean energy are all promoted by the EU.

Haha! An Eagle to eat all the documents he doesn't like? Better than clogging the toilets with them, as he used to do!

The IEA said a few years ago that we only have half of the technologies needed to ensure a transition to climate-friendly world. I hope these innovations contribute to that goal!

The whole point of keeping the various gov't data sets hermetically sealed from each other was to add an additional layer of safety. Even if one piece of data were revealed, it couldn't reveal much.Musk wants a big integrated data set, searchable, AI-controllable, for his own nefarious purposes! Ugh
