"There's no point in me auditioning..."
Everyone has to audition. Everyone. Auditioning IS THE JOB. So ignore the negativity and send it in anyway. If you stop focusing on whether you're going to land it and focus on auditioning like a superstar, it takes a lot of the stress away.
The year is coming to a close, that means it's time to remind yourself how far you've come. So spin up some work or an audition you did 6 months ago or even in the beginning of 2023. You might be surprised at how much you've grown!
A lot of new Voiceactors are surprised when we tell them professionalism and kindness will get you further than talent ever will. You can have the greatest voice in the world and if people don't like working with you... they simply won't book you.
Made a post on facebook about overcoming fear, was flagged as against guidelines. So whatever you do in this industry DON'T overcome your fears, its against policy and regulations. 🙄
