President Donald Trump calls for repeal of ranked choice voting in Alaska | Alaska Beacon Trump gave his “complete and total support” to supporters of the repeal effort, including U.S. Sen. Dan Sullivan and Congressman Nick Begich.

It feels icky that he’s even talking about us Alaskans. (Kinda feels like a pervy old man relative is saying he dreamed about us.) tRump knows nothing about us. Many Alaskans like the way ranked choice voting works.

This is an all-hands 🆘🚨 for #AlaskaSky and #Alaska skeeters, esp ppl who live in the Valley and use the bus to commute to ANC - the proposed budget cuts will result in 25% cut in funding to Valley Transit and will force them to cut back their already meager offerings, incl. commuter routes to ANC:

Mamdani: "What are we fighting for?. When you look back at the history books of our party, 100 years ago we had a very clear vision of what we were fighting for. It's sad that for too many Americans, when they want to look for ambition in the Democratic Party, then have to turn to a history book."

My congressional duo did what they were told to do.

I keep calling Senator Sullivan to say: this is the Republicans fault. Senator THUNE PISSED ME OFF ENOUGH TO CALL YOU. I re-explain how much support I give to Mary Peltola. This is a distraction from the Epstein files.

Black and white image of a sculpture in the center of a traffic circle. The sculpture has one very large 4-sided spike coming up from the ground and culminates in a very sharp point. The spike is at an angle, creating a tension. Half way up the spike is a wire globe showing longitude and latitude lines and solids continents. The globe is split in have and shifted, so that one half is higher on the spike than the other half. The statue is made of metal, possibly stainless steel. Located in San Luis Obispo on Froom Creek Rd., California. Artist: Warren Hamrick

This sculpture is edgy. It's titled "Shift" by Warren Hamrick, depicting a fractured world which calls for unity and collective care.

Serial killer Henry Lee Lucas confessed to crimes he didn’t commit. Donald Trump claims victories that didn’t happen. Different industries, same creative writing major.

You know…I have been thinking (a dangerous thing)
Trump compared himself to Jesus so I think we should put him to the test.
Let’s nail him to a cross to stay until his death. And 3 days after his death if he becomes alive again, I will believe he is sent by God.
How soon can we Crucify him?

Rep Stansbury: We cannot talk about taxes without talking about how broken the system is
Rep Stansbury: We cannot talk about taxes without talking about how broken the system is YouTube video by Rep. Melanie Stansbury

It’s tax week. And, the bipartisan DOGE reboot is back—talking taxes and the IRS. 😱

But look, we can’t talk about the IRS without being honest: The tax code is broken.  And, American families are suffering. Now they want to do another Big Ugly Bill and make it worse—so let’s talk about it!
