Take home is that if @beckman-foundation.bsky.social focuses on funding only a select number of universities then why bother posting open calls. Look, it's a private org and they can do what they want with their money. But it would help if they asked why is this happening

Congrats to the awardees. Going through their data, they've funded 61 fellowships since 2023. The graph shows the distribution of funded institutes. Nearly half of the awardees come from either Caltech, Berkeley, or MIT.

We all want it to end - and has to because hate and fear are now normalized. But people not from the region who are now putting Hamas and Hezzbolah as well as bibi and trump on pedestals need to understand how much harm they are doing and shoulder some of that blame

Im confused… are Israeli citizens sleeping in bomb shelters to blame for Hezzbalah launching missles at civilians in Haifa, Kiryat Shemona and all the kibbutzim along the border including the one where I lived? No. Just like Iranians or lebanese going through the same thing now dont deserve it.
